MONKEYS TALES

The Jataka Tales are a treasure trove of animal stories, and none are more entertaining than the monkey tales. We read of monkeys brave or wily, quickthinking or unthinking—a leader who risks his own life to save his band, another who outwits a demon, a third whose presence of mind helps him fool a greedy crocodile, and finally an eager but foolish monkey who tries his hand at being the king’s gardener for a day. Well-known and beloved of generations of children, these stories are bound to enchant your child in this beautifully illustrated and designed edition.
