The new school project is to design and build a website. Simone is in a group with Anthony Dent – who just happens to be in hospital, recovering from a burst appendix. The story is told mainly through Simone and Anthony’s emails, with pages from the website interspersed. Alongside the developing website, the main story deals with Simone’s mother’s pregnancy, and Simone’s fears that the new baby will take her place in her mother’s affections.
